TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services provided by ROCOCO Painting & Decorating (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing our website or engaging our painting and decorating services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue using our website or services.

2. Services
ROCOCO Painting & Decorating provides professional residential, commercial, and industrial painting and decorating services throughout Sydney and surrounding regions.
All services will be carried out according to the written quotation or agreement provided to the client.

3. Quotations and Estimates

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotations are based on the information supplied by the client at the time of inspection or inquiry.

  • Any variations in project scope, materials, or site conditions may result in a revised quotation.

  • Additional requests made after commencement will incur extra charges.


4. Booking and Deposits

  • A deposit of 10–30% of the total project value may be required to confirm booking and secure materials.

  • The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received by ROCOCO Painting & Decorating.


5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due by the date stated on the invoice.

  • Late payments may attract a 2% monthly interest fee.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel services if payments are not made within the agreed timeframe.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as indicated on the invoice.


6. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made within 5 business days of the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • If materials have already been purchased or preparatory work has begun, the client will be liable for costs incurred up to that point.

  • ROCOCO Painting & Decorating reserves the right to reschedule projects in cases of severe weather, illness, or other uncontrollable circumstances.


7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing clear and safe access to the worksite.

  • Ensuring all personal belongings, furniture, and valuables are removed or properly covered prior to work commencement.

  • Providing access to power and water if required.
    ROCOCO Painting & Decorating accepts no liability for damage to items that were not properly protected by the client.


8. Materials and Colour Selection

  • All materials and paints used are of professional trade quality and comply with Australian Standards.

  • Colour choices are the responsibility of the client. We recommend applying a test sample before approval.

  • ROCOCO Painting & Decorating will not be responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from colour variations after application.


9. Warranty

  • All workmanship is covered by a 5-year warranty under normal conditions and proper maintenance.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    • Damage caused by structural movement, moisture, or external weather conditions.

    • Normal wear and tear, fading, or lack of maintenance.

    • Work that has been altered or repaired by others.

  • All warranty claims must be made in writing with photographic evidence.


10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROCOCO Painting & Decorating will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.

  • Delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g. severe weather, supply shortages, labour issues).
    Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


11. Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
We strictly comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations in New South Wales.
Our painters are fully insured and trained in safe work practices.
We use low-VOC and environmentally responsible paints whenever possible to reduce environmental impact.

12. Privacy Policy
Your personal information will be collected only for the purpose of providing our services, processing payments, and communicating with you.
We do not sell or disclose your information to third parties, except where required by law or necessary to deliver our services.

13. Intellectual Property
All website content—including text, logos, images, graphics, and designs—is the exclusive property of ROCOCO Painting & Decorating.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent from us.

14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

15. Amendments
ROCOCO Painting & Decorating reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of our website or services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
